Yours and Your Child's

Time: Up to 3 hours (includes Q&A session from the audience).
Target Group:
Parents and parent educators

  • Learn to value and correct mistakes without guilt.
  • Communicate anger without doing harm.
  • Listen so your child feels heard.
  • Learn to hold the line and mean what you say.

Having taught parenting seminars for 20 years, Sandy is asked back into a school for a repeat performance; this seminar is a follow-up to her “Getting Out of the Spin Cycle” seminar. Sandy teaches for 90 minutes, then opens the session to Q&A from the audience. Warmth and humor are wrapped around clear, precise skills for effectively working with today’s children.

The teachings in this seminar enable the participant to immediately take charge of their parenting challenges without any need for excessive anger or spanking. The use of boredom instead of threatening, bribing, yelling and hitting is a revolutionary solution to abusive and passive parenting problems.

For information on how you can get Sandy to speak at your meeting or event, email her at sandy@sandymcdaniel.com, call her at 949-642-3605 or fax her at 949-548-0305.

“I’ve been in the field of early childhood education for 30 years and I’ve never seen my staff or parents be so excited after having a speaker come to our school. I HIGHLY recommend any and all groups who work with children to have Sandy McDaniel reach out and share both her knowledge and her love.”

Rita Jaimeson,
Director Early Childhood Care Center; college instructor, CA

“Thank you again and again for coming out to talk to our residents and feedback, especially from the women in our shelter. They all feel that they now have tools to be effective and positive models with their own children. Your generous gifts of knowledge and caring have touched all the women and children at Interval House.”

Janine, Ex. Dir. Interval House Crisis Centers for Victims of Domestic Violence, CA
